Drawing Of The Week : 1969 Boss 302 Mustang

With just 3 days left for the 2010 Ford Mustang to debut at the LA Auto Show, our Drawing - Chief : Mohammad Al-Khatib decide that he wanted to draw his favorite Mustang ever, the '69 Boss 302. And as you might expect, it took him lots of time and hard work to draw it. He also has done a good job with customizing it. Adding a front-splitter, redesigned grill, redesigned head-lights, big rims and some yellow paint makes this drawing of a Mustang absolutely beautiful.

Tune next week for another drawing.

Drawing Of The Week : Customized Chevrolet Impala SS

Drawing - Chief : Mohammad Al-Khatib loves the SEMA show. So he decided to draw something in-relate to SEMA. So he drew his own customized 1995 Chevrolet Impala SS. His customizations include huge rims, full body kit and lower ride (lower springs). However, because this doesn't have many colors, it took him 5 hours overall. Compared to other drawings from him, that's very little time. Though this doesn't mean that he hasn't done a great job with this drawing. So again, good job Mohammad!

Next week, we'll be having another picture

Drawing Of The Week : Ferrari 360

This week's drawing from our Drawing - Chief : Mohammad Al-Khatib isn't an American car! However , this Ferrari 360 is his best work yet. Now he didn't draw the F430, because he thinks the 360 is better-looking than its successor. But he couldn't leave it alone, he gave it some gigantic rims. Which makes the car sits to lower to the ground than usual. So as a result of that drawing, he spent nearly 14 hours working with the first-sketches and coloring.

So if you like Ferraris, you'll pretty much like it. If you don't, tune in next week for another amazing drawing of our chief.

Drawing Of The Week : Dream Cadillac Escalade

Another week , and another drawing from our Drawing - Chief : Mohammad Al-Khatib . This time though , his done a "dream project" . His project is to cut-out the roof of the Cadillac Escalade . Also , his project would be also to lower it down and give it some enormous alloy rims . He basically turned the high-rider into "the cruiser of the downtown street" . Now that might not work in your standard SUV , but because the Escalade has such a "bling" character , it works brilliantly . However , such projects take long time . While this is only a drawing , but it still took him nearly 10 hours to draw . So in reality , it would take him months to make . Anyways , good job from our team !

Check next week for another drawing .

Drawing Of The Week : Dodge Viper

As you may noticed , Drawing - Chief : Mohammad Al-Khatib loves American cars . And he's very sad about about Dodge selling the Viper name . So to relax himself from his sadness , he had to draw it . And he did . However , it took him alot of time to make it . About 10 hours to be exact . And everyone who see it , has to appreciate the hard work on details . Describe the drawing in one word is hard , but I would say it's "fantastic" !

Let me what you see in the comments . And next week we'll be featuring another drawing . So keep tuned .

Drawing Of The Week : Ford GT # 2

As you saw last week , we featured a drawing a Ford GT from the back side . Because it was such a hit and people liked it , our Drawing - Chief : Mohammad Al-Khatib decided to make us a favor and do us another Ford GT !

But this time he drew it from the front . And as you know from the real GT , the front has alot more details than the back . So he had to draw these small details . And in result it took him more time . The outline sketch took him about 3 hours . But the coloring took him a dizzying 10 hours . So 13 hours in total , is really tiring . In the end , as you can see it looks like the real thing , although he added his own rims (I like them) . This thing is absolutely beautiful . Thanks for the hard work Mohammad .

And tune in next week for another drawing .

Drawing Of The Week : Ford GT

The Ford GT was the real American supercar that competed with Ferraris and Lamborighinis . The problem here of "was" . In 2006 , Ford ended the production of the GT . Which is a very sad thing .

But our Drawing - Chief : Mohammad Al-Khatib , still wants to live the America dream . Oh yes , he drew us a Ford GT . And from the best side , the back . And as you can see , there's alot of details here . This job of sketching , erasing and then coloring took him a good 7 hours . This drawing really gets to my mind of how great the GT was . If only papers had sound , then we could've heard the noise of the 5.4L supercharged V8 . Anyways , keep it up Mohammad .

And as promised last week , the drawing today is in perfect quality

Drawing Of The Week : Hummer H1

So yes , it's a boring weekend . And have nothing to do on a Friday night ? Well , to make it less miserable , Motor Gears will be featuring every week a car-drawing by our Drawing - Chief : Mohammad Al-Khatib . And don't worry , he's a big petrol-head himself .

In these days , he got fed-up with hybrids and electric cars . So , he wanted to draw something big . something isn't friendly at all . He drew a Hummer H1 . The car that trees try to run away when they see it . And the end result of drawing it , is fantastic .You can see all the little details and even the tyre markers . Good job Mohammad !

But because I have no idea about drawing , I thought it took him about 10 minutes . Then he explained about how the car needed sketching first , and the whole processes of drawing and ofcourse , coloring . In total , this car took him nearly 6 hours to draw . So yes , drawing takes alot of time .

I would like to apologize for the low-quality picture , but that's all what we could do for now . Next week will be featuring another amazing drawing , in high-quality. Hope you get excited this weekend .
