Nurburgring Video : The new Lexus LF-A burns its engine !

Last week, the town of Nurburg in Germany hold one of the most exciting races ever, the 2009 Nurburgring 24 Hour Race, and boy was it awesome. For all who haven't watched it, this 24 Hour Race has been one of the best races this year. While Team Porsche won the race, they also cracked the record for number of laps, at 155 laps! The 'Ring Race also hold the festival of news car. The revival of the Ford GT Race Car, Aston Martin V12 Vantage RS, Audi R8 V10 LMS, and the all-new 2010 Lexus LF-A Nurburgring Race Car.

So with an exciting new line-up of race cars, the 24-Hour race was worth every second. Porsche racing Audis, Aston's V12 just dominating the sound of the race, made it terrific. As for the new LF-A, Lexus needs to rework that V10 engine!

Just two hours before the end of the race, one of the cars with racing team -Gazoo Racing- with Lexus, couldn't finish the race. The car entered the corner, but suddenly the 4.8L V10 steamed and caught fire, which got burned up toasted, which also got the car out of the running. However, the other Gazoo Racing Lexus LF-A, got to 14th in its class (SP8) and 87th overall. So considering the first year for Lexus at the 'Ring, it's actually pretty good. Hope the V10 engine doesn't burn in the production LF-A!
