New Reveal At Geneva : 2010 Audi TT RS

Ever since the Audi TT started back in 1998, the TT was a sexy little car. But that's it. The TT was always missing the sportiness of the original 1981 Quattro rally car had. Nowadays, the Quattro is just Audi's brand name that indicates the car has 4-wheel drive. And this, the Audi TT RS, the most sporty TT ever, has the Quattro all-wheel drive.TT RS will be available in both Coupe and Roadster forms. Audi TT RS competes with cars like BMW's Z4 M, Mercedes' SLK AMG, and Nissan's 370Z.
To bring back the glory days of the 1980's Quattro rally car, Audi has equipped the TT RS with a new 2.5L turbocharged 5-cylinder that gives a lot of go. 340hp and 331 lb-ft of torque to be exact. The result of all that power in a small body that weighs 1.4 tons, is 0-60 mph in under 4.6 seconds for the Coupe and 4.7 seconds for the Roadster, and a top speed of an electronically-limited 155 mph. Without the limiter, it could crack 170 mph. That makes it the fastest TT ever built. We should think of it as a baby R8, but accelaration is as fast as the R8!
To make the TT RS handle all that power, Audi engineers have stiffen the suspension and updated the braking-system. They've also revised the electronic stability control system to stable the car with that extra power.
This is also definitely, the most aggressive TT ever. Compared to the standard TT, the TT RS gets a more aggressive front fascia with bigger air intakes, a rear diffuser, new fixed rear spoiler, Audi's LED lights and twin-spoke alloy rims. Inside, there's a new leather multifunction sports steering wheel, and sports seats with a combination of Alcantara and leather.
The 2010 Audi TT RS will made its official world debut at Geneva Motor Show today, in coupe and roadster form. Both the TT RS Coupe and Roadster will be available in European markets during the second quarter of the year.
