New Reveal At Geneva : 2009 Hyundai i20 3-door; 2009 Hyundai ix-onic Concept

European market is growing large with city hatchbacks. That's why Hyundai has been working lately on small hatchbacks. Two hatchback concepts were released at Geneva.
First is the i20 3-door. The i20 is the coupe version of the 5-door i20. Because it has fewer doors, the price is lower and it's lighter, so the 1.2L is more powerful, at 87hp. Hyundai's i20 is positioned between the i10 and i30. This is just an example that Hyundai are working for European market.
Second is the ix-onic Concept. And the design is something that very much mimics European styling. Like the Kia No 3 concept, which bears more than slight resemblance to the Ford Fiesta, this ix-ONIC reminds one immediately of the Ford Kuga. Ford of Europe should be flattered by all the imitation. Or maybe they should sue!
The ix-ONIC name is obviously meant to convey the word iconic. And iconic may be taken to mean unique or ubiquitous. But there are some techno-goodies here to make this a veritable concept car. From 21-inch rims and LED headlights, to a panaramic glass roof.
