Back at the Geneva Auto Show in 2006, Nissan unveiled the Terranaut Concept. And they said that it'll eventually come to life as the famous Patrol. It seems now, they did.At a photo studio, we caught our eyes on the new 2010 Nissan Patrol. As a design, this car doesn't really hold up to the concept. The front and tail lights are totally different. However, it still resembles the main body of the concept. Never the less, this redesigned Patrol is in question for design. Because at the back, it looks nearly identical to the Toyota Land Cruiser. The front is the same story, just look at these headlights! Exactly as the ones in the Land Cruiser. The only thing at makes this as a Patrol, is the traditional grill. However, the side vent is a pretty unique feature.
So it might look ugly outside. Inside though, the new Patrol gets an Infiniti-like interior. It also shares the navigation & entertainment system with other Infiniti models. So unlike any other Patrols in the past, this one is actually luxurious.
Changes for this Patrol includes a new engine. It's the 3.0L dCi V6 borrowed from Renault. It develops 245hp. Speculations that the Patrol might get the same 3.7L V6 as the one in the 370Z, it might even get a V8. Because looking at it, this Patrol is considerably larger than before (Nissan may based it on the Armada).

Since Nissan isn't attending the 2009 Detroit Auto Show, expect to see the 2010 Patrol debuting at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.
