Audi's plans of a new 2010 Audi R8 V10 seem to be finished. The new R8 V10 was spotted at the Nürburgring. However, in the spy pictures, the exterior looks exactly the same as the R8 V8. But when it debuts at the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit next month, it'll feature new rims and a redesigned body kit.
Looking at the engine bay, we clearly see a V10 engine. It's reported that it's a 5.2L V10 producing 520hp and 398lb-ft of torque. The engine is also used in the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4.
Also, quad-exhaust pipes will be gone, with larger twin exhaust pipes coming instead. New, larger brakes to match the power upgrade, are expected.new engine is expected to also be available in the convertible version. However, the ragtop is planned for a bow in Europe next fall.
