Time Of The Year : Car & Driver Lighting Lap 2008

Every year , Car & Driver take plenty of the year's finest sports cars and pit them on the 4.2-mile track at Virginia International Speedway . C&D call it The Lighting Lap . And this year is no exception .

They brought along 22 cars , starting with a Chevrolet Cobalt SS , all the way to a Mosler MT900S . But they cant compare a 25,000$ car with a half million dollar car . So they classified the cars into 5 classes :
LL1 (under $30,000)
LL2 ($30,000–$60,000)
LL3 ($60,000–$120,000)
LL4 ($120,000–$240,000)
LL5 (above $240,000)

But strangely , this year there wasn't any LL4 cars . So no Porsches and Lambos here . But don't worry , because today's hottest car is here . The Nissan GTR . And a legend is also playing the game . It's the Viper ACR . Here's the list :
