Teaser Image + Video: New Grand Bentley; a replacement of the Arnage

The Bentley Arnage sedan has been in showrooms for more than a decade now. Although Bentley always tries to refresh it with some body additions and special editions, it starting to get old. Well, Bentley didn't forget to come with Arnage's successor for 2010.

For the time being, Bentley is calling it the 'New Grand Bentley'. The Grand Bentley is aimed to be more upscaled than the Arnage, to make finally compete with the Rolls Royce Phantom. That means the Grand Bentley is aimed to be more luxurious than the four-door Bentley Continental Flying Spur. The New Grand Bentley will be manufactured in Crewe, England.

Because Audi owns Bentley, rumors that the New Grand Bentley will be based on a modified Audi A8 platform. The engine on the Grand will probably come from the 2010 Bentley Continental Supersports, which is a 6.0L W12 that runs on FlexFuel system that can work on either petrol, environmentally-friendly E85 biofuel or any combination of the two. This new Bentley should make its world debut this summer of 2009.

For now though, watch the teaser video below.
