Hennessey seems to gone mad with lots and lots of power. Hennessey have now fine tuned the LS9 supercharged 6.2L V8 engine, that makes up to 700 horsepower. Nevertheless, the drag strip is the best place to see how Hennessey's tuning can put down all that power.

Well, we first start with the Hennessey HPE550 Chevy Camaro. In this Camaro, the LS9 engine produces 550 hp. After throwing in their HPE550 upgrade, which will cost those interested $18,950 plus shipping ($24,950 installed), Hennessey has reported a quarter-mile run in an outstanding 11.67 seconds at 121 mph.
In the Corvette ZR1, Hennessey went for tuning the supercharger to give an output of 700 hp. Launch to 60 mph comes in an awesome 3.1 seconds. As for the quarter-mile, the HPE700 ZR1 just ticks 11.03 seconds at 136 mph!
