New Reveal : Hennessey ZR700 Corvette ZR1; and a track-run video included!

Before Hennessey releases the 700hp HPE700 Camaro monster to the streets, they've been trying and testing a prototype version of it, based on the amazing Corvette ZR1 called ZR700. The ZR700 is a package Hennessey will offer over the standard ZR1The Hennessey ZR700 package allows the ZR1 go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds with a top speed of 212 mph. A second package, known as the ZR750 makes a total of 755hp and 730 lb-ft of torque. That allows the ZR1 to run from 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 217 mph. But for now, the ZR700 with 700hp is pretty enough. So this is the perfect car to take to the Nurburgring to compare it to the standard ZR1, that ran the 'Ring in an amzing 7:26.4.The person taking the even more powerful Hennessey's ZR700 is John Heinricy, who retired from Head of GM’s Performance Division after 38-years of working with GM. However more impressively, he was the same man who took Cadillac's 556hp CTS-V to the 'Ring, and ran it in 7:59 and made it the world's fastest sedan. So with this 'Vette in the hands of a real expert, it will make a fuss on Germany's Nurburgring. But before going there, Hennessey gave Heinricy the ZR700 to practice on a private track. Here's the video of that track run, and please higher the volume up to enjoy listen to that amazing supercharged engine!
