No anniversary is complete without the presentation of one or more special edition models. For the brand's 50th birthday party that will take place at the MINI United Festival at the British race track in Silverstone, MINI has prepared two special edition versions of its three-door hatchback called '50 Mayfair' and '50 Camden'.
Named after famous boroughs of London, the 2010 '50 Mayfair' and '50 Camden' come with numerous features including special body paintwork, unique light-alloy rims, specific materials and surfaces within the interior as well as a range of colour and of course, a jubilee placard proudly surrounded by chrome trim on the radiator grille that bears the number "50".
Both the '50 Mayfair' and '50 Camden' are available in Cooper (120 hp, 1.6-liter petrol, 44 mpg), Cooper S (175 hp, 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol, 38 mpg) and Cooper D (110 hp, 1.6-liter diesel, 60 mpg).
