Ford CEO, Alan Mulally, delivers Ford Fusion Hybrid with 1 Millionth SYNC System to Microsoft CEO, Steve Ballmer.

For just over a year now, Ford with the partnership of Microsoft have introduced their new Microsoft SYNC as an option into their Ford sedans and trucks. Nevertheless, the SYNC was and still is such a hit that it just nudged its 1 millionth vehicle.

To celebrate its 1 millionth target, Ford CEO, Alan Mulally, headed over to Seattle to deliver the 1 millionth vehicle with SYNC, a 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid, equipped with Ford-Microsoft SYNC system to Microsoft’s CEO Steve Ballmer.

“We have made a commitment to deliver the vehicles that people really want and value,” Mulally said. “The success of SYNC is another proof point that we are doing just that. We will continue to innovate and expand the capability of SYNC by integrating even more new technologies that fit our customers’ lifestyles.”

So while GM’s Fritz Henderson and Chrysler’s Bob Nardelli face their career’s toughest weeks, Ford CEO Alan Mulally is out and about making vehicle deliveries.
