The Lamborghini Insecta Concept is a design study created by Romanian designer Iulian Bumbu, who interned at Alfa Romeo's styling department after earning his master's in car design in Milan. Despite being just an idea with no relations to Lamborghini, it is an awesome looking 2-seater supercar concept.
The car's shape is inspired by "insectas" (insects), and for their body-armor. According to Iulian: “The idea was to create an extreme race-oriented supercar with a style that introduces softer and more organic lines and integrate them into the geometrical style of Lamborghini.”
If the Inscta Concept sees any production, will be loosely based on the Lambo's true Gallardo LP560-4. However, it'll be much faster despite being the same size as a Gallardo, because it's fully-made of carbon-fiber.
We think the car looks great, sort of out their on its own. All the vents and sharp edges make it look like a Lambo, it just needs the bull badge and a screamy V10 engine.
