New Reveal At Geneva : 2009 Magna Steyr Mila EV

Magna Steyr is known as an automobile manufacturer for other companies on a contractual basis, therefore Magna Steyr is not an automobile marque. Now it looks like Magna Steyr might become an automobile marque in the future. At the Geneva Motor Show this company is showing a new electric vehicle concept called Mila EV.
Currently the car is just a concept study to show potential of Magna Steyr. Mila EV is a five-door hatchback with a length of about 4m. Power comes from a 67hp electric motor supplied by in-house developed lithium-ion batteries. Charging time of 2.5 hours guarantees a range up to 150 kilometers. In addition to the lithium-ion battery this concept gets energy from solar cells integrated in the glass roof.
Magna Steyr say that if the Mila EV gets into production, it'll look the same as this concept and feature the same electric engine. Therefore, the Mila EV will have a reduced cost comapred to other EV cars.
