Teaser Shot : 2010 Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA teaser image released

Alfa Romeo has finally released a teaser image showing the front view of the hot and much-waited MiTo GTA. MiTo GTA styling is inspired by the 8C Competizione. But unlike the standard MiTo, the MiTo GTA version is powered by a more powerful Italian engine.

Compared to the standard MiTo engineers have upgraded the engine to a turbocharged 1.8L 4-cylinder that develops 240 horsepower. Other upgrades to the high-performance MiTo GTA include a revised front, bigger wheel arches and bigger wheels. We could also see improvements on the suspension system, brakes, and light weight body panels.

MiTo GTA should be an excellent rival to Mini’s John Cooper S Works. MiTo GTA will debut next month at the Geneva Motor Show. Stay tuned for more!
