It's Official: 2010 Nissan GT-R SpecV

After nearly a year of speculation and spy shots, it's official: the 2010 Nissan GT-R SpecV has arrived. This limited-production GT-R SpecV is a performance version of the already powerful GT-R targeted at enthusiast drivers. The SpecV model includes unique body, interior and performance equipment and modifications, raising the GT-R’s amazing performance to even higher levels.
Starting with the exterior, the GT-R SpecV’s new exterior features include a carbon fiber rear spoiler, a carbon fiber grill, carbon fiber brake ducts, and titanium-coated exhaust. The SpecV is available exclusively in Ultimate Black Opal (RP) body color. In addition, the black rims in the SpecV are actually made from lightweight, racing-style forged aluminum.
As for the interior, the only change is made to the seats. SpecV comes with special Recaro carbon fiber bucket seats and seats two(standard GT-R seats four). Instead of rear seats, the SpecV has a storage box.
As any Nissan SpecV model, The new GT-R SpecV gets greater enhancements in performance. It's improved with a new high gear boost control device, which momentarily increases boost of the 3.8L V6 engine’s twin turbochargers for greater torque in the intermediate-to-high speed ranges to provide a more powerful feeling of acceleration, while also allowing the engine to operate at a lower speed for improved fuel economy. All-new carbon-ceramic brakes were added that provide more powerful stopping power. Also, the SpecV gets a reworked suspension fitted underneath. Added to that, and the new GT-R SpecV deliveries as Nissan says, exceptional performance.
Sales will start in Japan on February 2, with an expected price tag of 15,750,000 yen ( 171,706 U.S. dollars). Currently there is no information whether the GT-R SpecV will be sold outside Japan. So let us hope for that.
