Teaser Shot # 11 : 2010 Ford Mustang gearbox covered !

Although Ford is busy with selling Mazda , that didn't stop them to photograph the 2010 Mustang for some teasing . We last saw the dashboard , which looked fine . As for today's picture , it's the gearbox . And while the shifter looks great , infact it's shared with the Bullit Mustang ; sadly it still has to run with only 5 gears . Its biggest rivals , Challenger & Camaro , both got 6 gears .

Looking at the pictures that Ford is sharing with the world , it seems that very little has changed . Outside , only the head and tail lights have changed . As for the interior , it has the same design but with expected better quality . And now , it has the same gearbox as the current Mustang . So the question comes , have they made any major changes to this new pony ? Well , reporters say that it should have new engines . Though , the 4.0L V6 is kept . But a new 5.0L V8 should come back to life in the GT model . And there should be a middle-range model with Ford's EcoBoost 3.5 V6 , but with V8 power . We'll know all if that's true in LA's Auto Show next month .
