RumorMill : Pontiac G8 might be killed after 5 years !

We know that Pontiac is GM's face to fight with BMW and other European carmakers . Sadly , it seems that Pontiac is having a hard time now . Reporters indicate that Pontiac might lose its best sports sedan yet , the G8 . It's all down to the fuel crisis , global economy and msot importantly the strict CAFE regulations , making this not sell as they hoped it would . So GM won't bother to renew the G8 after its Holden-sourced chassis architecture is redesigned following a planned five-year run .

If this story is true , that leaves Pontiac with no RWD models . Because even the Pontiac Solstice might cut-off . So its like getting back to the 90s , where Pontiac car were simply horrible . It also means GM's vice chairman Bob Lutz fail to turn Pontiac into America’s BMW . Pontiac's best to stuck to the 80s , where they had Firebirds and Bonnevilles .

So GM left the dummies in Pontiac . The G5 , G6 and G3 are infact "boring" . GM should move these stuff to Chevy . Because Pontiac cars are meant for enthusiasts , even if they didn't sell much .
