It's another muscle car, and another new special edition. This time around, it's a 2010 Ford Mustang GT, teamed up with a AV-X10 “Dearborn Doll” special edition package done by Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture Oshkosh, to create this one-off special edition Mustang. The Mustang AV-X10 Dearborn Doll will be auctioned at the 2009 EAA AirVenture Oshkosh Auction.
The AV-X10 ”Dearborn Doll” features exclusive Satin Silver exterior paint with a yellow nose and rear wing, 19-inch Shelby GT500 wheels in liquid silver with yellow propeller tips, and white gloss accents. The one-off model also features autographs from aviation legends and celebrities attending EAA AirVenture including: Harrison Ford, Edsel B. Ford II, Jack Roush, Carroll Shelby, and others.
Besides the visual modifications, this special 'Stang gets also mechanical improvements. EAA AirVenture Oshkosh decided to opt their speical edition Mustang with Ford Racing parts, inculding a Handling Pack, tuned exhaust, and a Ford Racing Supercharger for the 4.6L V8. Output is increased to 550 hp.
Ride height has also been lowered by 1-inch.The vehicle will be on display at the Ford Hangar at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh starting July 27.
