New Reveal : 2009 BMW M3 Edition Models

BMW unveiled the M3 Edition Models, a M3 Coupe special edition, that gets a little more exclusive styling and a dropped-down suspension. The M3 Edition Models offer four individual modifications in body design and interior features as well as 19-inch forged M light-alloy rims in double-spoke design.
Unique exterior features include the black finish on the openings on the engine compartment lid and the exterior mirror caps while the BMW kidney grille, the side gills and the dual tailpipes on the exhaust system come in dark eloxy-plated chrome.
BMW has also specialized the M3 Coupe's interior. All M3 Edition Models come with black leather seats feature contrasting seams (white on the Alpine White and Black models, yellow on the Dakar Yellow and blue on the Monte Carlo Blue) as well as vertical trim stripes on the upper section of the backrest and at the front of the legrest.
The special edition M3 Coupe models also come with a sportier suspension set up that lowers the entire body by 10 millimeters or 0.4-inches. Other than that, the 2010 M3 Edition Models get the same amazing mechanical features as the standard M3.
As a reminders to our readers, the BMW M3 Coupe gets a 420 hp 4.0L high-revving V8, tuned by BMW's M division. Power is sent through the usual rear-wheels, via a computerized rear-differential that can give full-lock when drifting. The M3 can hit 60 mph in 4.8 seconds in the 6-speed manual, and 4.6 seconds in BMW's SMG 7-speed twin-clutch auto-manual transmission.

The BMW M3 Edition Models will go on sale worldwide in July 2009 and will be available in Alpine White, Black, Dakar Yellow, and Monte Carlo Blue. Production will be limited to just six months.
