New Reveal : Novitec Tridente; Novitec TuLesto

To mark their 20th anniversary, German tuner Novitec has introduced two new models. The Tridente and the TuLesto. Novitec is well known for giving exclusive supercars more power, specially that are from the Fiat Group like Ferrari and Maserati.

To start with, the Tridente. The Tridente is actually the first tuned-version of the Maserati Gran Turismo S model. So yes, Novitec gave the Gran Turismo S some exterior changes like a front spoiler, rear wing, side skirts, and 21-inch 5-spoke wheels. More importantly though, Novitec got their hands on the engine. In comes, Novitec with a supercharged 4.7L V8, an upgraded ECU and a tuned exhaust system. Power has been increased from a boring 440 hp to a whopping 600 hp. Which means, this beauty GT now has the power to support its looks.

However, the TuLesto is the one that Novitec is making a fuss about. Novitec claims that the TuLesto is their first ever own production car. Nevertheless, the body-shell and the engine suggest that it comes from a Ferrari F430. It's designed together with the Italian design studio Luca Serafini Stile in Modena, like the F430, and the engine a 4.3L V8, just like the F430. However, the 4.3 V8 now has dual superchargers, to boost the power up to a mind-blowing 777 hp, which is mated to a 6-speed semi-automatic through the rear-wheels. Launch to 60 mph comes in 3.4 seconds, and top speed is over 217 mph; wow! Only eleven units will be built, each custom-fitted in form, shape, size, color and upholstery to each future owner.
