New Reveal : 2010 BMW S 1000 RR

At Motor Gears, we don't really cover motor bikes. Nevertheless, BMW has just came up with a superbike. Therefore, we had to check it out. It's a BMW S 1000 RR. Motorbike fans tell us that this is one amazing bike. They also tell us that it looks good too.
Bikes are all about performance; no luxury compartments or safety to talk about. So the BMW S 1000 RR is powered by a 999 cc BMW Formula One inspired engine, that packs 193 hp@13,000 RPM, and 82.5 lb-ft of torque@9,750 RPM. The S 1000 RR is also lightweight with most of the body made of carbon-fiber; weighing at only 206 kilograms. So power-to-weight ratio is 965 horsepower-per-ton, which is twice as more than a Bugatti Veyron! So the BMW bike can go just as fast as any hypercar like the Veyron. To make it even faster, there's also an HP Gearshift Assistant that will allow for full-power clutchless upshifts.
S 1000 RR brakes and handles as well. It features various riding conditions such as wet roads ("Rain"), regular road conditions ("Sport"), a race track with supersport tyres ("Race"), or a race track with slicks ("Slick"). The bike also features factory ABS brakes and an advanced traction control system with stability control settings.

Expect U.S. sales to begin early in 2010. Hope you liked our talk on bikes this time.
