New Reveal At NY : 2010 Land Rover Range Rover

These are the first official photos of the redesigned facelifted Range Rover that made its premiere along with its facelifted Range Rover Sport sibling and the Discovery / LR3 at the New York Auto Show. Most major changes in the new Range, is an overall tweaks in the exterior, an all-new interior, and the also new 5.0L supercharged V8 out of the Jaguar XFR.
The exterior design enhancements adds modern futures up-front like the new 'three-stripe' LED indicators on the headlights. Also, the new headlights are sharper-looking and fitted to an extent ed new grill as well as new bumpers front and rear. Land Rover have also redesigned the side vents on the fenders. Going to the back, there's also darken treatment for the tail-lights.
Inside, there's an all-new interior compared to the previous model. The new interior adds more "modernness", too. There's leather trim for the headlining, pillar and door casings while the fascia buttons now feature a satin chrome-plated finish. Moreover, the 2010 model features a new dual view touch screen infotainment system plus what Land Rover claims to be the world's largest configurable 12-in. Thin Film Transistor (TFT) screen which is found in the instrument cluster instead of the standard gauges. The 2010 Range also has an all-new surround camera system for parking and seeing out of places.
Like Jaguar, Land Rover replaced the old supercharged 4.2, with a new 5.0L supercharged V8 unit. In the Range Rover, it develops 510 hp, and 460 lb-ft of torque. That's a great deal of power. However, despite the 29% power increase, Land Rover claims that this engine is 7.3% more fuel efficient, at 17 mpg. The 2010 Range Rover also includes improvements in the braking system, suspension, and the Stability Control systems.

With all new tweaks to this classic SUV, the new 2010 Range Rover is still the benchmark in SUVs.
