Happy Birthday Mustang! Ford celebrates 45 years of the Mustang; and Hyundai gives out a cake, and a blow-off from Genesis Coupe

It was back in April 17th, 1964 when a legend was born. It's the Ford Mustang. When cars were all just meant for transportation, Ford had thought of the Mustang as a sports car. It was the Mustang that introduced the muscle car. So all that came from Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Charger were copies. Even more, where the Camaro and the Charger died in the 1970s, but now they're back, the Mustang lived on all generations.
Yes, some Mustang generations were terrible, but the Mustang still holds the record for the fastest selling car of all time by selling 9 million units over the years. It's just like today, that the Ford engineers showed the Mustang to the public. And now exactly 45 years later, it's transformed into various models and into a everyday sports car that it still powered by a potten V8, a lot of noise, and the iconic pony car.
Ford is organizing an scheduled event for all Mustang owners to for a huge cruise of 500 Mustangs, plenty of track time, car show, a Mustang Challenge race, and more. Details can be found on http://www.mustangevents.org/.
Nevertheless, for non-Mustang owners like us, Ford has provided a timeline graphic of all the Mustang generation differences. Personally, my favorite Mustang has to be the 1971 Mustang Mach 1 with that fastback roof and a 351 Boss V8 engine. Please tell us your favorite Mustang in the comments.

Meanwhile, Hyundai has created a video showing a happy birthday 45 for the muscle car, with a cake, and blowing the candles off with the 2010 Genesis Coupe's exhausts. Hyundai sees the Genesis Coupe as direct rival to the Mustang. Kudos to Hyundai for making this video to show a clean, honest competition. This video can be watched above.

All we can say is, Happy Birthday Mustang. Wish you lots of joy, and hope to see you in the next 45 years! Our gift for the Mustang is the video below, please watch and enjoy.
