New Reveal At Geneva : 2010 Tata Nano Europa; 2009 Tata 2009 Prima Concept

Two new Tatas have come to Geneva to make their world debut. Here goes:First, is the Nano Europa. It's basically a European version of the $2,500 Nano that debuted last year. The Nano Europa approves all the European regulations. So It has a longer wheelbase, more features, 3-cylinder all-aluminum MPFI engine mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission and electric power steering. In addition to more features it actually looks good and with speculated pricing around 5,000 euros ($6,300 USD) could offer serious competition to small and cheaper European city cars by Dacia, Chevy, Citroen, Renault and Peugeot. If everything goes as planned then Nano Europa could go on sale earliest end of 2010.
Second one to go, is the Prima Concept. Prima is a entry-luxury mid-size sedan hitting the European market. We also noticed how good-looking this is; it was actually designed by the famous Italian designer Pininfarina, who also design Ferraris. It will be built in India, with a planned launch in Europe by 2011, in petrol, diesel, and even hybrid-electric engines.
So it looks like the Indians are catching up. In our opinion, if this Prima was actually as good as it looks, it could very well be better than the Chinese comers!
