According to Febuary's sales report, the Dodge Challenger outsold the Ford's iconic Mustang, which is the fastest selling car in history yet, by 293 units. So with a good advertising campaign, the Dodge coupe racked up 3,283 sales during a very challenging month. So it's now officially recognized, the Dodge Challenger beat the Ford Mustang for this month.
Sadly however, Dodge won't be having a happy ending dream. Because, the Chevrolet Camaro is going into regular production on this March the 16th, and already has over 10,000 pre-orders on the books. The Mustang won't be left over too. Sales for the 'Stang have been low since everyone is waiting for the all-new 2010 Mustang.
Since the whole motoring and media press are falling in-love with the heavily-advertised Camaro, and the Americans favoring the legendary Mustang as the flag-ship muscle car, it seems the Challenger doesn't have a chance in out selling both its rivals in the future. But, it's always to the Challenger as the more special muscle car.
