Owners of performance cars are always concerned that improvements to the next model year will make their cars look weak. For instance, when Aston Martin released a bigger engine displacement for the V8 Vantage from 4.3L to 4.7L in 2008, owners of the previous 4.3L Vantage were annoyed. However, as Aston Martin being a company that cares about rich gentlemen, they won't leave 4.3L Vantage owners behind.
Aston Martin released an in-house tuning package that gives 20hp more to the 4.3L V8 Vantage, which puts it in-line with the 420hp in the 4.7L V8 Vantage. Aston Martin is also offering a Sport Pack for the previous Vantage, which includes of upgraded springs, Bilstein dampers, and lightweight forged aluminum five-spoke wheels.
