SPY SHOTS : 2010 Pagani Zonda

Although the Pagani Zonda is nearly 6 years old now, it is still one of the most anticipated supercars. However, Pagani decided that it needs a refresh.
So the car you see here, is the next generation Pagani Zonda. We can tell that by looking at the little tweaks in the exterior. Such as a redesigned front clip. At the back, the rear quarter panels have been re-sculpted to allow for significantly increased airflow. The rear diffuser has also been redesigned. Pagani also redesigned the quad exhaust pipes layout. Most important change of all, is that Pagani added a new air scoop that sticks up from the middle of the engine cover to cool the engine.
So that means the new engine gets hotter, which means the car is more powerful than the current one. However, the next generation Zonda's power plant is still a mystery. Some reporters say that it'll keep its 7.3L AMG V12. Other rumors suggest, it'll have the 5.4L supercharged V8 from the McLaren SLR 722. And some say it'll get the twin-turbo 6.0L V12 from the Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series. Whatever engine it will have, power is expected to be around 700hp. This Zonda should start production sometime in the first half of 2009. If you want one, count your wallet of at least $650,000.
