Mazda revealed to us the new 2010 Mazda 3 before . But today , photographers spotted at the Nurburgring the Mazda we all want . It's the Mazda 3 MPS , or Mazdaspeed 3 depending where you live . As the previous Mazda 3 MPS , this will be based on the new hatchback version .Styling wise , we can't tell a lot because they covered the parts they changed from the older one . But , you can see at the front an enormous hood scoop . We also noticed the bigger brakes throw these nice 18 inch alloys . Also , it seems the back spoiler has been changed (bigger) .
Thats not all . Because Mazda boffins are testing it at the 'Ring , that means it should perform well . Dynamics wise , this will throw out its 2.3L turbo and replace it with some bigger 2.5L turbo from the Ford Focus RS . It should give about 300hp . However , because these horses are going throw the front wheels , Mazda will probably fit some clever differentials to stop the car from torque steer . Moreover , a rear diffuser is in fit to make out better aero-dynamics .
When to expect this at our local Mazda dealer ? Well , the stanard 3 will roll the streets in begining of 2009 . The "hot" version of it , should come in mid 2009
